What Makes a North Las Vegas Commercial Lockout Different
North Las Vegas has large warehouses near Interstate 15 and the 215, plus older retail along its main roads, so both the doors and the stakes tend to be bigger here.
- Warehouse man doors beside the dockThe steel door beside the loading dock is often the only way in when the roll up doors are down, so we open it and inspect the mortise lock inside.
- Exit devices on rear doorsPush bars on rear doors can jam from dust and heavy traffic, and we free them and adjust the latch so the door closes and latches cleanly.
- Fleet and yard vehicle keysMany sites also operate trucks and vans, and we cut and program fleet keys in addition to opening buildings.
- Missed key handoffs between shiftsA missed key handoff between shifts is one of the most common reasons a warehouse supervisor calls us.
Lockout Calls We Get in North Las Vegas
These are typical calls from North Las Vegas warehouses, shops and offices, along with the usual response.
- The night supervisor went home with the only set of keys to the building. We open the door so the next shift can start working, then cut additional spare keys on site so every supervisor carries one.
- The push bar on the back door is stuck and nobody can get out that way.We free the exit device and adjust it so the rear door opens properly again, since that exit matters for safety.
- The dock office door locked behind the driver while the keys were still inside. We open the office door and can make an extra key for the dispatcher, so the same interruption does not happen a second time.
- We lost the only key to one of our delivery vans somewhere in the yard.We can cut and program a new van key on site during the same visit as the building lockout.

What a Commercial Lockout Costs in North Las Vegas
Warehouse and shop lockouts vary considerably, so the price comes from the door, the hardware and the time of the call. Your business estimate is free, and you hear the total before we touch the lock. Calls placed at night, on weekends or on holidays usually add $25 to $75. If keys walked off with a former employee, rekeying usually costs about $20 to $50 per lock plus the visit.

Questions We Get Asked
Can you open a warehouse door when the roll up doors are down?
Yes, most warehouses have a steel man door near the dock, and that is usually the door we open. It often has a mortise lock or a deadbolt that we can work on without damage. If the roll up door itself has failed, a door company handles the motor or track.
Do you fix stuck push bars on rear doors?
Yes, push bars, also called exit devices, can stick from dust, heat and hard use. We open the door if necessary, free the latch, and adjust the bar so the door opens and closes cleanly. Because rear exits are critical for employee safety, we treat these calls as urgent.
Can you make keys for our fleet trucks too?
Yes, we cut and program car and truck keys on site, including keys for whole fleets. Transponder keys usually cost $150 to $350 with programming, and smart fobs cost more. We can handle a building lockout and a vehicle key during the same visit if your business needs both.
Do I need to be on the lease to call for a lockout?
You need to show identification and proof that you manage or own the site, such as a lease, a business license or a letter from the owner. A shift lead can also have the owner confirm by phone, but we do not open a building for anyone who cannot show a legitimate connection to it.
