Summerlin stretches from Rampart Boulevard west to the edge of Red Rock Canyon, with Summerlin Parkway and the 215 as the main ways in. We work in villages such as The Trails, The Hills and The Ridges, in Sun City Summerlin for active adults, and in the busy retail blocks of Downtown Summerlin near Red Rock Resort. Summerlin ZIP Codes and Villages, Street by Street

Summerlin is not one ZIP code. Its own developer says the community is defined by official boundaries, not ZIP codes, and names 89134, 89135, 89138 and 89144 as the main ones, with some neighborhoods in 89128, 89145, 89148 and 89161. That is why a search for "locksmith 89135" and a search for "locksmith 89144" can both mean Summerlin.

Summerlin covers nearly 36 square miles and has more than 130,000 residents, according to its history page. Use the table to find your ZIP, then the village notes below to see what kind of lock work fits your street. If your door is stuck right now, our Summerlin home lockout page is the fastest route.

Summerlin ZIP codes and what the Census says about the homes

Village names for each ZIP follow a Nevada real estate guide and the Summerlin ZIP notice above. The ACS figures come from Census Reporter, which republishes them.

The oldest villages, 1990 to 1997

Summerlin began with The Hills in 1990. The Hills South followed in 1991, The Pueblo in 1992, The Trails in 1993, The Crossing in 1994, The Canyons in 1995, The Arbors in 1996, and Summerlin Centre and The Willows in 1997, per the Summerlin history page.

Homes this old have often passed through two or three owners. The locks have usually been copied many times, so a rekey after a purchase is worth more here than in a new build. Worn original deadbolts also stick in summer heat, and that is a repair call, not a lockout.

To guide a technician, give the village name, the street, and the nearest main road. Many Summerlin streets curve and repeat names, so a cross street saves minutes.

The middle villages, 1997 to 2004

The Gardens and The Vistas opened in 2000, Ridgebrook in 2001, The Paseos in 2003 and The Mesa in 2004. Homes from this stretch match the 2000 to 2009 building wave that dominates ZIP 89135 and 89138 in the table.

Many of these houses are now old enough for the first set of keypad and smart lock upgrades. If your lock app is offline, see our residential locksmith work for repair and replacement.

The Ridges and Red Rock Country Club

Red Rock Country Club began in 1998 as a 738 acre guard gated village with about 1,000 luxury homes and two Arnold Palmer designed golf courses. The Ridges began in 2000 as a 793 acre guard gated village, and its last lot sold in March 2023, both per the history page.

Both are guard gated, so the visit starts at the gate house. Give security our company name and the house address, and keep your phone on so the guard can reach you. Custom homes here often have several exterior doors, so ask for all of them to be rekeyed to one key.

The newest villages, 2015 to today

The Cliffs opened in 2015, Reverence in 2017 and Grand Park began selling in November 2024. Summerlin's village list also shows Kestrel, Kestrel Commons, La Madre Peaks, Redpoint Square, Summerlin Centre and The Peaks as selling now.

New construction means few key copies but plenty of keypads and builder installed hardware. The common calls are a dead keypad battery, a code nobody remembers, and a builder who still holds a key. Rekeying at move in closes that last gap.

Giving a technician directions in Summerlin

Summerlin addresses all read Las Vegas, NV, so the ZIP alone does not tell a driver where you are. Give the village, street name, house number and the nearest major road such as Charleston Boulevard, Rampart Boulevard or the 215.

If the community is guard gated, say so on the call and name the gate. If you are locked out of a car instead, tell us the lot or garage and the level. We open vehicles and cut keys on site, see our automotive locksmith page.

Buying in Summerlin soon? Our guide on rekeying or replacing locks when moving explains what to change first. Home rekeys start at $79.99.

Sun City Summerlin and Downtown Summerlin

Sun City Summerlin is an active adult community with its own association, and its address is 9107 Del Webb Boulevard in 89134 per the community site. We cover it on its own page, locksmith in Sun City.

Downtown Summerlin opened on October 9, 2014. It is a 106 acre shopping and dining district inside a 400 acre urban core. For a car key lost at a garage or a shop door that will not lock, tell us the store name and the nearest parking level. South of Charleston, see locksmith in Summerlin South.

How Fast We Reach Summerlin

From the center of the valley, Summerlin Parkway and the 215 bring a technician to most Summerlin streets in about 20 to 30 minutes. Gated villages can add a short wait at the guard house, so it helps to call the gate ahead or leave our company name with security. Late at night the roads are usually clear, and arrival is often at the quicker end of that window.

Typical Locksmith Prices in Summerlin

Typical Las Vegas prices apply in Summerlin, with a house lockout usually running $85 to $195 and a car lockout usually running $45 to $135. Rekeying costs about $20 to $50 per lock plus the visit, and home rekeys start at $79.99. A new deadbolt installed is usually $100 to $300, while transponder car keys typically cost $150 to $350 with programming. Night, weekend and holiday visits usually add $25 to $75, veterans receive 10% off new locks, and you always hear the full price before any work starts.

Questions We Get Asked

Can you get past the guard gate in a Summerlin village?

Yes, as long as security knows we are coming. When you call, give the guard our company name, or share the gate code if your community uses one. Some gated villages ask to see the work order, and the technician will have it ready. Notifying the gate ahead of time usually saves the most time during a lockout.

Can you match all my Summerlin locks to one key?

Usually, yes. If your front door, side door and garage entry locks share the same keyway, we can rekey them so a single key operates every one. If one lock comes from a different manufacturer, we may recommend replacing that individual cylinder. You hear the price for each option before we begin.

Can you make a car key at Downtown Summerlin if I lost mine while shopping?

Yes. We come to the parking garage or surface lot, cut a new key and program it to your vehicle on site. Bring identification and the vehicle registration so we can confirm ownership. Most common manufacturers are covered, and transponder keys typically cost $150 to $350 including programming.

Do you work on businesses in Summerlin office parks?

Yes. We handle lockouts, damaged cylinders, master key systems and access control for offices, medical clinics and retail suites throughout Summerlin. Business estimates are free, so we can walk the property and give you a price before any work starts. Emergency calls after business hours are handled exactly like daytime appointments.

Which ZIP code is Summerlin?

Summerlin has no single ZIP code. Its developer names 89134, 89135, 89138 and 89144 as the main ones, with some neighborhoods in 89128, 89145, 89148 and 89161. Give us your street and village name along with the ZIP so we find the right gate and cross street.

Is Summerlin a wealthy area?

Incomes vary by village. The Census Bureau's 5 year survey puts median household income in ZIP 89135 at about $121,515. Older ZIPs such as 89128 and 89117 have more renters and a different housing mix, so lock needs differ block to block.

Are all Summerlin addresses in the city of Las Vegas?

They all read Las Vegas, NV, but most of Summerlin lies within the city limits while Summerlin South is in unincorporated Clark County, per Wikipedia. Our City of Las Vegas license is on our license page for you to check.
