When a high security safe locks you out, we come to your home or business in Las Vegas, 24/7, and work to open it with as little harm as possible. We open, repair and service burglary rated and high security safes, and a technician usually arrives within 20 to 30 minutes.
Many of these safes protect cash, deposits or inventory at a shop, office or bar, so we often handle them as part of our commercial locksmith work. Business estimates are free, and you hear the price before anything starts.
- Patient openingWe begin with manipulation and other careful methods that leave the hardened steel plate completely intact.
- Relocker awareWe plan every opening around the relockers so that an ordinary lockout does not become a much bigger repair.
- Ownership checkedBefore opening anything, we ask for identification and proof that the safe belongs to you or your business.
- City licensedOur technicians work under City of Las Vegas Locksmith License #P64-00012, and the company is bonded and insured.

What Kind of High Security Safe Do You Have?
A high security safe is engineered to slow down someone carrying tools, not just to discourage a curious visitor. Look for a rating label inside the door, then match it to one of these categories.
TL Rated Burglary Safe

A label such as TL 15 or TL 30 means the safe resisted hand and power tools for that many minutes in a laboratory test. These doors carry hardened plate and relockers, so a careless drilling attempt can lock the bolts permanently.
Composite Fire and Burglary Safe
This safe carries both a burglary rating and a fire rating, often with a thick body packed with a concrete style fill. The weight and the extra layers make drilling extremely slow, so we rely heavily on non destructive methods first.
High Security Jewelry Safe

These usually have rows of lined drawers behind a heavy door with a dial or an electronic keypad. Owners tend to open them every day, so worn dials and tired keypads are the usual trouble, and our jewelry safe page covers them in more detail.
Business Deposit Safe

A deposit safe has a slot or a drop drawer near the top so employees can add cash without opening the main door. The keypad on the main door gets heavy use and eventually wears out, and some lighter models have surprisingly thin bodies despite their solid appearance.
Problems We Fix
- The combination stopped working after years of use.Worn wheels or a drifting dial can throw the numbers off, so we test the lock, open the safe and then service or replace the lock.
- Someone tried to force it and now nothing works.A forced attack often triggers a relocker, and we work around it with a plan designed for that particular lock and door.
- The electronic lock shows an error code.We check the power supply and the wiring first, and then we bypass or replace the failed lock wherever the design allows it.
- A manager left and took the code.Once the safe is open, we change the combination immediately so former employees can no longer get inside.
- The bolts drag when the handle turns. We clean, adjust and lubricate the bolt mechanism so the door closes smoothly and locks the way it should.
How We Handle the Job
- 1
Confirm who owns it
We check identification and proof of ownership, or written authorization from the business owner, before any work begins.
- 2
Read the safe
We note the rating, the lock type and any evidence of a previous attack before choosing an opening method.
- 3
Try manipulation first
When the lock type allows it, we work the lock by feel and sound, which can take considerable time on a quality lock.
- 4
Drill only if needed
If drilling is the only way inside, we drill at a carefully planned point and repair the safe so it locks again.
What Decides the Price
The price for a high security safe is determined mostly by the rating and the lock on the door. A TL rated door with a triggered relocker requires far more time than a deposit safe with a weak battery.
We inspect the safe, explain what we expect the job to involve and give you the price before we begin. For a business, that estimate is always free.
Placing a High Security Safe in a Las Vegas Business or Home
Most Las Vegas buildings sit on a concrete slab, which makes the best foundation for a heavy safe. Bolt it down through the anchor holes into the slab so nobody can tip it onto a dolly and wheel it away. In a casino cage, a bar or a retail store that handles cash all day, position the safe where employees can reach it without turning their backs to the entrance.
Give each person an individual code if the lock supports multiple users, and change codes whenever someone leaves the company. Have the lock and bolts inspected once a year, because a safe that is opened dozens of times every shift wears out much faster than one sitting in a home closet.
