We cut and program Chrysler keys at your car in Las Vegas, 24/7, for everything from older PT Cruisers to the newest Pacifica minivans. A technician usually reaches you in 20 to 30 minutes, and you hear the price before any work starts, so there are no surprises when we finish.
Lost every key to your minivan, or left the fob somewhere in the cargo area? Read our guide on lost car keys with no spare, and then call us, because we can make a key from nothing and program it where the vehicle is parked.
- What a fobik isA fobik is the chunky Chrysler fob that pushes into the dashboard and turns like a key, with a small emergency blade hidden inside.
- Minivan key countFamilies often run with only one key for the minivan, which is the easiest way to end up stranded in a parking lot.
- Old remotesMany older Chryslers used a chip key plus a separate remote on the key ring, and we can replace either piece by itself.
- Same visitCutting, programming and testing all happen during one stop, so you do not need to arrange a tow to the dealership.

Which Chrysler Key Do You Have?
Chrysler moved from plain keys to chip keys around the late 1990s, then to remote head keys and the fobik, and now to proximity fobs with push to start on most newer vehicles.
- Chip key with separate remoteMany Sebrings, PT Cruisers and minivans from about 2000 have a black head key with a transponder chip and a separate remote on the ring. We cut the key and program the chip, and we can add a new remote during the same visit.
- Remote head keyThis design puts the lock buttons in the head of the key, which still turns in a normal ignition. Both the transponder chip and the buttons need programming before the key is finished.
- FobikThe fobik has no blade sticking out, because it slides into a slot in the dashboard and turns there. Its hidden emergency blade opens the driver door when the battery dies.
- Proximity fobNewer Chryslers with a start button use a fob that stays in your pocket while you drive. We program a new one to the vehicle, and old lost fobs can be removed from its memory.
Chrysler Models and Their Keys
Chrysler 200

The first 200 from 2011 to 2014 uses a fobik that pushes into the dashboard. The redesigned 200 that arrived for 2015 moved most trims to a proximity fob and push to start, and production ended after 2017.
Chrysler 300

The 300 that arrived for 2005 used a chip key with the remote built into its head. It moved to the fobik around 2008, and many later 300s have keyless entry with push to start.
Chrysler Pacifica

The first Pacifica was a crossover sold from 2004 to 2008 with a chip key and remote. The name returned on a minivan in 2017, and that minivan uses a proximity fob with push to start.
Chrysler Sebring

The Sebring ran from the mid 1990s to 2010, and most cars from around 2000 onward have a chip key. The last generation from 2007 often has the remote built into the key head.
Chrysler PT Cruiser

Every PT Cruiser from 2001 to 2010 uses a chip key, which means the car must learn any new key. Early cars pair it with a separate remote, while later cars often have the buttons in the key head.
Chrysler Voyager

The early 2000s Voyager uses a chip key with a separate remote. The Voyager name returned around 2020 as a lower priced version of the Pacifica minivan, and that van uses a fob like the Pacifica.
Chrysler Town and Country

Town and Country vans from the late 1990s to 2007 mostly use a chip key, often with a separate remote. From 2008 until the minivan ended in 2016, it uses the fobik that pushes into the dashboard.
How We Make a New Chrysler Key
- 1
Call with the year
The model year tells us whether your vehicle uses a chip key, a fobik or a push to start fob, so we bring the correct parts.
- 2
We drive to you
We meet you at home, at work or in a store parking lot anywhere in the valley, usually within 20 to 30 minutes.
- 3
Prove ownership
We check your photo ID and the registration or title before any key is cut, which protects you as the owner.
- 4
Program and test
We program the new key, and then you start the vehicle and try every button before we leave.
What a Chrysler Key Costs in Las Vegas
A Chrysler chip key or fobik with programming typically costs $150 to $350 in Las Vegas, while a push to start fob costs more than that because the fob itself is more expensive. An older plain cut key for a Chrysler usually runs $50 to $180.
Expect $25 to $75 more on nights, weekends and holidays. Having one working key on hand usually keeps the job shorter, and our automotive locksmith page covers the other vehicle work we do.
Make a Spare Before You Need One
With one working key in hand, a second key is a quick copy and pairing job. Without one, we have to build the key from scratch and teach it to the vehicle, which takes longer, so get the spare now and keep it at home. See the full range of car keys we make.
Owning a Chrysler in Las Vegas
Chrysler minivans handle a lot of school runs, warehouse store trips and airport pickups around Las Vegas, and those busy errands are exactly where keys get lost. Summer heat also wears out fobik batteries and cracks old remote shells, so if the buttons only work up close, replace the battery before it quits in a hot parking lot.
