We make and program Suzuki keys at your car in Las Vegas, 24/7. Suzuki stopped selling new cars in the United States in the early 2010s, so most here are older SUVs and imports, and we cut and program Suzuki keys on site in most cases.
Locked out of your Suzuki? We open it without damage through our vehicle lockouts service, and if the only key is lost, we can make a new one from the original code or the lock.
- The American yearsGrand Vitaras, XL7s and SX4s were the main Suzukis sold in the United States.
- Imports tooWe can usually help with models sold in Mexico and other countries once we confirm the year.
- Blanks checked firstSome Suzuki key blanks are less common, so we verify availability before driving out.
- One visitMost Suzuki keys are cut and programmed at the vehicle during a single trip.

Which Suzuki Key Do You Have?
Older Suzukis used plain cut keys, and by the 2000s most had a security chip in the key. Newer Suzukis sold outside the United States use remote keys and, on some trims, proximity keys with push to start.
- Plain cut keyOlder Samurais, Sidekicks and early Vitaras use this key, which has no security chip and no buttons, and we cut it to match the lock on site.
- Transponder chip keyMost Suzukis from the 2000s onward use one, with a thicker head that contains a security chip. We cut the blade and program the chip so the engine starts.
- Remote head or flip keyThe buttons and the key come in one piece on many later Suzukis, and we program both the remote and the security chip.
- Smart key with push to startSome later Suzukis, mostly sold outside the United States, use a proximity key on higher trims, so we confirm the year and market before quoting.
Suzuki Models and Their Keys
Suzuki Alto

The Alto is a small city car sold in Asia and Europe rather than the United States, and most later Altos use a cut key with a security chip. If one is in Las Vegas, call with the year and the country where it was sold.
Suzuki Baleno

The current Baleno hatchback, from around 2016, was sold in places like India and Mexico rather than the United States. Many use a remote key with a chip, higher trims have a proximity key with push to start, and we verify the details before quoting.
Suzuki Celerio

The Celerio, sold outside the United States since around 2014, uses a cut key with a security chip on most cars. It is rare in Las Vegas, so we confirm the key blank before we come out.
Suzuki Dzire

The Dzire sedan, sold in India and other markets, started with plain keys and moved to transponder keys later. Newer ones offer a proximity key on higher trims, so tell us the year and country when you call.
Suzuki Ertiga

The Ertiga minivan, sold since around 2012 in Asia, Mexico and other markets, uses a remote key with a security chip on most trims. We verify the year and blank before quoting a job.
Suzuki Grand Vitara

The Grand Vitara was sold in the United States from the late 1990s into the early 2010s, and early ones use a plain cut key on most vehicles. The redesigned Grand Vitara that arrived around 2006 uses a transponder key, with a proximity key on some higher trims.
Suzuki S Cross

The S Cross is related to the SX4 that was sold in the United States, but the S Cross itself was sold in other markets from around 2013. Early ones use a transponder key with a remote, and later ones offer a proximity key on higher trims.

What a Suzuki Key Costs in Las Vegas
A Suzuki transponder key with programming typically costs $150 to $350 in Las Vegas, and a proximity key usually costs more than that. A plain cut key for an older Samurai or Sidekick is usually $50 to $180, while after hours, weekend and holiday calls usually add $25 to $75.
Rare blanks for imported Suzukis can raise the price, and so can losing every key, so read our Las Vegas locksmith cost guide for the full picture.
Make a Spare Before You Need One
With Suzuki out of the American car market, some keys and blanks are becoming harder to find. A spare cut and programmed now, while you have a working key, costs less than an all keys lost visit, and our car keys page lists what we make.
Owning a Suzuki in Las Vegas
Older Suzuki SUVs still appear in Las Vegas apartment lots, work sites and desert parking areas, and they take a beating from the heat. Rubber key heads crack and remote buttons wear out after years in the sun, so if your key head is cracked, replace it before the chip falls out, since a missing chip means the car will not start.
