We make and program Fiat keys at your car in Las Vegas, 24/7. Most Fiats here are 500 family cars from the 2010s, and we cut and program the flip key or smart fob on site, which means there is no tow to a dealership in most cases.

If you are locked out of a Fiat 500 in a tight garage space, we can open it without damaging the door or the paint, and you can learn more about our vehicle lockouts service. When the key is gone for good, we can still generate a new one from scratch at the car.

  • Small car, thin bladeFiat flip key blades are thin and precise, and we cut them to the exact profile your locks require.
  • US and imported FiatsWe tell you during the phone call whether an imported model needs extra steps or a harder to find key blank.
  • Licensed in Las VegasWe hold City of Las Vegas Locksmith License #P64-00012, and we are also bonded and insured.
  • Late night callsWe answer around the clock, and a technician usually arrives within 20 to 30 minutes of your call.

Which Fiat Key Do You Have?

Fiat returned to the American market in the early 2010s, so almost every Fiat on Las Vegas streets has a security chip in the key. Older Fiats sold overseas started with plain keys. They then moved through transponder keys, flip keys and eventually proximity smart fobs.

  • Plain cut keyOnly older Fiats built before the late 1990s use this key, and most of them are classics or private imports. There are no buttons and no security chip, so we simply cut it to match the lock.
  • Flip key with remoteThis is the key most Fiat 500 and 500L owners recognize, because the blade folds into the remote and a security chip sits inside. We cut the blade and program the chip and the remote together during one visit.
  • Smart key with push to startMany 500X trims use a proximity fob that stays in your pocket while you press a start button on the dashboard. We program a replacement fob to the car and cut the emergency blade hidden inside it for the door lock.

Fiat Models and Their Keys

Fiat 500

The American Fiat 500 arrived for the 2012 model year, and the gasoline version continued through 2019. Most use a flip key with a security chip and a remote, which the driver turns in the ignition. The electric 500e and later versions differ, so please tell us the exact year.

Fiat Panda

The Panda was never sold in the United States, so we only encounter it as an occasional private import. Older Pandas used a plain cut key, later ones use a transponder key or a flip key with a remote. We ask for the year and the country of origin before heading out.

Fiat Punto

The Punto was sold in Europe and other markets, not in the United States. Early versions used a plain cut key, later ones moved to transponder keys and flip keys with remotes. If one is in Las Vegas, we confirm the key type before we come out.

Fiat Doblo

The Doblo van was sold in the United States as the Ram ProMaster City, starting around 2015, and those vans use a transponder key with a remote. Many of them are work vans at job sites. A Fiat badged Doblo is rare here, but the key system is similar.

Fiat Tipo

The Tipo was not sold in the United States under the Fiat name. Early Tipos from the late 1980s used plain cut keys, the newer Tipo uses a flip key with a security chip on most trims. If yours came from Mexico as a Dodge Neon, please mention that when you call.

Fiat Qubo

The Qubo compact van was sold in Europe rather than the United States, and most use a transponder key, often a flip key with a remote. We confirm the exact key type and blank before driving out to the vehicle.

Fiat Ducato

The Ducato is the foundation for the Ram ProMaster van that has been sold in the United States since around 2014. ProMasters use a transponder key with a remote, and plenty of them operate out of Las Vegas yards. We cut and program those keys right at the van.

How We Make a New Fiat Key

  1. 1

    Tell us which Fiat

A 500, a 500X, a ProMaster and an import each take a different key, so we start by asking for the model and the year.

  2. 2

    We quote the job

You hear the price before we start, and nothing gets cut or programmed until you approve it.

  3. 3

    Key made at the car

We cut the thin Fiat blade and program the security chip and remote while your car stays in its parking space.

  4. 4

    Check everything

We test the locks, the trunk release and the ignition, and we demonstrate that every remote button works before we leave.

What a Fiat Key Costs in Las Vegas

A Fiat transponder key or flip key with programming is typically $150 to $350 in Las Vegas, and a smart fob for a push to start Fiat usually costs more. A plain cut key for an older import is usually $50 to $180, and expect $25 to $75 more for nights, weekends and holidays.

Imported Fiats can cost more because locating the correct key blank takes additional effort, and a few newer models need the dealer for one step, which we tell you about up front if yours is one of them. Our Las Vegas locksmith price guide explains the remaining details.

Make a Spare Before You Need One

Many Fiat 500 owners in Las Vegas bought their car used and received only one key, so adding a second key now is the smart move, because copying a working key is quicker and cheaper than an all keys lost visit. See our car keys page for the spare keys and fobs we make.

Owning a Fiat in Las Vegas

A Fiat 500 is easy to park on the Strip and in the tight downtown garages, which is also where many people misplace their keys, and the summer heat here wears out the coin battery in a Fiat remote, so when the buttons stop responding, check the battery first. If you drive a ProMaster for work, a spare key in the office prevents a lost day when a driver leaves with the only one.
